  • Process Re-engineering Group 
  • Develop, document, and implement all Policies relevant for the IT department. 
  • Understand, develop, and implement end-to-end Processes for the IT department that will result in streamlined processes, increased efficiency, and improved quality. Integrate Processes across all applicable departments.
  • Document all existing and new Processes comprehensively along with clearly defined RACI and SLA.
  • Introduce Quality as an independent review function to sign-off on all processes associated with all new implementations or major changes to existing implementations.
  • Define and review functional requirements for software / tools (off-the-shelf or in-house developed) to be procured / developed for IT Controls, IT Processes, and IT Operations.
  • Conduct Quality Reviews for Process Changes and Continual Improvements on half-yearly basis. Plan and develop initiatives for continuous process improvements. 
  • Analyse, re-engineer, continually improve, optimize, and implement Processes. 
  • Utilize Business Process re-engineering and improvement (BPR / BPI) tools, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Risk Management for IT. Work with 2nd line of defence to conduct RCSA for all IT Verticals. Identify, analyze, evaluate, prioritize, implement, monitor, and review Risks and mitigating Controls. Ensure Controls are effectively and efficiently implemented to achieve desired outcome.
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and implement changes to the Processes using Change Management approach to achieve desired objectives.  
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory of Processes and coordinate updates to the inventory working with respective Process Owners / Verticals.
  • Support the development of service and operating Agreements.
  • Ensure Audit findings are analysed for root causes and necessary corrective and preventive actions are initiated.
  • Conduct quarterly Management reviews.
  • Stay abreast of latest trends and best practices for quality, process re-engineering, business process execution and documentation.
  • Create and model a learning culture and a continuous improvement mindset; create high performing teams; empower colleagues to turn ideas into desired business objectives.
  • Lead Verticals through all phases of a Lean, Six Sigma or Reengineering effort (e.g., discover, diagnose, design, implement, measure & improve) and all aspects of an improvement (e.g., people, process, technology & policy).


Experience / Background

  • 13-15 years of progressive experience and demonstrates a breadth and depth of knowledge in areas of Banking / IT Consulting, Business Process Reengineering, Quality Management, Performance Measurement, Business Process As-Is To-Be & GAP Analysis, End-to-End implementation of IT Systems & Solutions, Change Management, Workflow Management.
  • Accredited in Lean, Six Sigma, BPR, BMP, Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, ITIL, TOGAF, and/or other global industry standard methodologies, frameworks, and toolkits.
  • BS/BA and/or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline i.e., Science, Engineering.
  • Track record of leading cross-business, cross-function initiatives that resulted in significant value-add.
  • Attention to detail, ability to analyse complex data and produce simple but high-quality Reports.
  • Ability to understand complex process related issues, identify, analyse, synthesize, and provide simple solutions which is easy to execute. Provides creative insights that result in practical solutions and significant value-add.
